In light of the ongoing two-year Rehabilitation and Periodic Maintenance works along the Pleebo to Barclayville Road, the Ministry announces the closure of the road from Monday, August 5 at 6:00AM to Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at 4:00PM due to the replacement of a damaged log bridge. 

Please note that due to the severity of the damage, there will be no alternative route.

Therefore, all road users including Drivers, Motorcyclists and other conveyors are encouraged to adhere to this measure until after the three days upon which the road will be opened to vehicular traffic. 

The Ministry regrets any inconvenience this closure may cause, as the rehabilitation of the damaged bridge is pertinent towards the ongoing maintenance works along the corridor.
