Central to these discussions was the internal reform to enhance ethical standards, a directive emphasizing the criticality of maintaining high standards of professional conduct. The Ministry reiterates its commitment to professionalism, urging all employees to remain steadfast in upholding these values in every aspect of their duties, which is essential for sustaining trust and integrity within the sector.

The retreat also validated the Ministry's comprehensive five-year Strategic Plan, which delineates a roadmap to address sectoral challenges. Through a thorough review, the Strategic Plan outlined strategic approaches to tackle longstanding issues, ensuring that solutions are practical and sustainable. Currently at its fourth stage of implementation, this project is a cornerstone of rural development, designed to facilitate smoother transportation for farmers and ease access to markets.
