Monrovia, On Thursday May 15, 2019, The President of the Republic of Liberia, His Excellency Dr. George M. Weah along with scores of Ministers from the Ministry of Public Works, Headed by Hon. Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan Sr. toured several communities Roads around Monrovia and its Environs to arcertain progress made by Contractors implementing the road projects.

Speaking briefly to the Press, the Liberian Leader thanked the communities for their cooperation and for working with the contractors for the smooth implementation of the projects he also reiterated his government commitment to reconnect communities by roads as promised in the Pro-Poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development (PAPD).

Also speaking with the press, was the Public Works Minister, Hon. Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan who informed the press that the tour was a normal routine aimed at ensuring that contractors live up to their individual contract terms. in furtherance to his comment, Hon. Nyenpan vowed that the Ministry through its Technical Team will ensure the durability in the construction of roads and other infrastructural development projects across the Nation.

In separate comments, the Contractors also thanked the Government for its fullest support toward making funds available for the smooth implementation of various road projects and also promised to work in line with their individuals contracts terms.
