Ministry of Public Works’ Department of Technical Services Holds First Bureau Meeting
Hon. Prince D. Tamba, Deputy Minister for Technical Services of the Ministry of Public Works and Head of the Ministry’s Department of Technical Services, on Thursday, July 12, 2024, held a meeting with all of the Divisions within the four Bureaus to evaluate methods used in the implementation of the President’s 100-Day Deliverables and set a new agenda to swiftly handle responsibilities that lie ahead.
In his opening remark, he thanked the workforce for putting in its best creative efforts which culminated into the mind-blowing success of the 100-Day project. Deputy Minister Tamba further encouraged Heads of Divisions to begin advancing project proposals for donor funding, as the national envelop is too small to measure up to the Ministry’s unending priorities.
Assistant Ministers Abraham Rahim Bility, Sundiata Juasimi, John Zogar, & Margaret Sarsih as Heads of the four Bureaus, joined Deputy Minister Tamba to motivate the workforce to do its best. They also committed to ensuring that the necessary logistics are made available for use by the employees, as well as rolled out a new agenda for each of the technical bureaus.
On the other hand, Division Heads expressed satisfaction over the working relationship that has existed and continues to exist among the workforce, and committed to doubling efforts at achieving the Ministry’s ambitious goals.
