The meetings coincide with the 60th Anniversary of the African Development Bank Group. The Ministry of Public Works' Deputy Minister for Technical Services, Hon. Prince Tambah, is part of the Liberian Delegation representing the government at these high-level bilateral and multilateral meetings.
The Annual Meetings of the African Development Bank Group present a unique opportunity for knowledge dissemination among high-level decision-makers in Africa, key officials of bilateral and multilateral development agencies, leading academics, and representatives of non-governmental organizations, civil society, and the private sector.
The Bank Group’s 2024 Annual Meeting is ongoing in Nairobi, Kenya. This year's theme is "Africa’s Transformation, African Development Bank Group, and Reform of the Global Financial Architecture," comprising the 59th Annual Assembly of the African Development Bank and the 50th Meeting of the African Development Fund.
The Liberian Government, fully represented and led by the Minister of Finance and Development Planning, Hon. Boima Kamara, is holding engagements with donor partner OPEC FUND in the area of road development and transport facilitation. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Public Works, the government of Liberia's engineering arm, is represented by Deputy Minister for Technical Services, Hon. Prince D. Tambah.
