A HIGH-LEVEL GOVERNMENT DELEGATION FROM LIBERIA IN JOHANNESBURG, SOUTH AFRICA

A three Man delegation from Liberia is currently in Johannesburg, South Africa in pursuit of substantive collaboration with Investors and development partners. They include the Minister of Finance and Development Planning Hon. Samuel Tweah as head of the delegation, the Minister of Justice Cllr. Frank Musa Dean, and the Minister of Public Works Hon. Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan.

The visit is aimed at accessing resources for the socio-economic development of Liberia. Meanwhile, they are expected to meet scores of high-level individuals from the Government and the Private sector to discuss possible investment opportunities for Liberia.

In view of the above, it's evidence that the Government of Liberia is committed and willing to fulfill Pillar - 2 of the Pro-poor Agenda for Prosperity and Development ( PAPD), which states; that the Government of Liberia will engage partners from all works of life to ensure the economic stability and job creation through effective resource mobilization and prudent management of economic inclusion.

It can also be recalled, that the President of Liberia His Excellency Dr. George M. Weah has said time without numbers that the economic stability of the Country is paramount to his government to ensure massive job creation for the youth that makes up 68% of the total population of the Country.

IT'S CLEAR THAT THE PRO-POOR AGENDA IS IN ACTION.
