THE MINISTRY OF PUBLIC WORKS, ON BEHALF OF THE GOVERNMENT OF LIBERIA SIGNED A $10.8M CONTRACT WITH CICO

Monrovia, December 28, The Liberia Government, through the Ministry of Public Works has signed a 10.8m contract with a Chineseís Construction Company in Liberia known as CICO, the signing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Public Works, yesterday in Monrovia. Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Public Works Minister Hon. Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan welcomed and thanked the management and staff of CICO for coming and working to rebuild Mama Liberia. Minister Nyenpan praised the President of the Republic of Liberia his Excellency Dr. George M. Weah for his continual commitments and efforts to rebuild Liberia through Road Connectivity. The Minister used the occasion to call on all Liberians to rally around the reconstruction exercise and do away with distraction that will not be in the interest of the State. For his part, the CEO of CICO, Mr. Yang Zetao thanked and promised his institution commitment in working with the Government of Liberia in reconstructing a 6.1 kilometer Road within the timeframe of 2years ( 2018-2020) from Coco Cola Factory to ELWA Junction. The signing ceremony was graced by several Deputy Ministers and Assistant Ministers of the Ministry of Public Works.
