Monrovia, December 24, 2018, the Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Public Works dedicated a 2.7 kilometre Corridor (Road). The ceremony, which took place in the Doe Community, was witnessed by scores of Government Officials and International Partners. Speaking after the cutting of the ribbon, President Weah thanked the Minister of Public Works Hon. Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan and his team for their level of commitment toward the implementation of the project and encouraged the residents to ensure that the road is used for its intended purpose. The Liberian Leader praised the residents for working in line with the Ministry of Public Works and the SSF Liberia Construction Company for the realization of the project. He also encouraged them to observe Public Safety Measures to avoid the loss of lives. The President informed the gathering that he visited the community on December 23, in disguised prior to the dedication of the project and what he saw wasnít favorable and encouraged them to do more on the issue of Public Safety. For his part, the Minister of Public Works Hon. Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan gave an overview and challenges faced during the project implementation; he also lauded the President and his team of Cabinet Officials for their support. In furtherance of his comment, Hon. Nyenpan said there will be a continual dedication of roads month after month. The Minister used the occasion to appreciate his team of Ministers for their hard work in bringing the project to fruition.
