PRESIDENT WEAH AND MINISTER NYENPAN TOUR ONGOING PROJECT SITES

His Excellency President George Manneh Weah has promised to make the construction of roads as a top priority of  his Administration. Accoding to the Liberian leader, the first step in developing a Nation is to tackle the issue of roads connectivity, Nationwide.  “When every part of the Country is connected by good roads,  it will help to improve Agricutural and other Economic activities across the Country. This will help our people to get economically empowered, thereby lifting them up of abject poverty.” The president has repeatedly said. 
It can be recalled that few months ago, the President through the Ministry of Public Works approved the construction and Asphalt pavements of severals community roads within Montserrado and its Environs. 
In an effort to ensure that these projects are on course the President alongside the Minister of Public of Works  Hon. Mobutu Vlah Nyenpan on Monday, December 3, 2018 toured several projects sites in Monrovia and its environs. The intent of the tour was to acquaint the President with status of the ongoing projects, the level of works done so far and to also ensure that the projects are carried out in a proffessional and timely manner and as per the  terms and conditions of the contracts signed between the Government of  Lliberia and construction companies implemeting these projects. Also present on the tour were the Minster of  Finance and Developemt Plaining (MFDP) Hon. Samuel Tweah and Nathaniel F. McGill, Minister of State for Presidential Affairs (MOS). 
Some of the projects sites visited during the occasion included: 1. The Segment of the Doe Community Road connecting to Clara Town via a Bridge, 2. Battery Factory Road connecting to Bali Island, 3. Logan Town Broad Street Road, 4. Pipeline Road, 5. Rehab Road, 6. Bishop Michael Francis Road, agmonst others.
